Women's Health

Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital

The Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital Women’s Health Program provides expert patient care for women of all ages and in all stages of life. The FSCH has offered an obstetrical service for delivering babies for over 50 years.

Fort Saskatchewan is a growing community and the women’s health program has recently recruited two Canadian fellowship-trained obstetrician and gynecologists (OB/GYNs) and launched midwifery to the labour and delivery service to help ensure local women can access a broad range of women’s health services in their own community.

The FSCH offers comprehensive, obstetrical and maternal care and provides urogynecology (incontinence), pelvic organ prolapse, infertility, abnormal pap smears, and minimally invasive surgeries, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Our multidisciplinary women’s health program team, including nurses, physicians, registered midwives, and other allied health professionals work collaboratively to provide excellence in maternal and gynecological care that is safe, effective, and patient friendly.
