Public Health - Central Access and Triage (CAT)

This central access referral service provides a single point of entry for patients who want to access the Public Health program in the Calgary Zone.

A service offered by Public Health nurses including:

  • immunization (according to the Alberta Health immunization schedule)
  • health education
  • counselling
  • support for parents
  • pre and post natal care
  • health assessment
  • screening to identify health concerns
  • referral to appropriate health care providers such as physicians and community resources
