Spasticity Clinic

Assessment and treatment for patients who have a primary concern of spasticity.

This is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist service that provides assessment and treatment for people who cannot relax their limbs because of involuntary muscle tightness or spasms.
Provides treatment for complex patients with spasticity, a muscle tightness that may result from a number of neurological conditions which may include stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, etc.

Treatment may include:

  • oral medication
  • botulinum toxin injections
  • intrathecal baclofen
