Please make sure to bring all the medicine you take in their original containers. Or Please bring an up-to-date list of all your medications. It may be helpful to bring actual medication bottles and/or blister packs to your appointment.
The Tuberculosis Testing Services is located in Public Health on the main floor of East Edmonton Health Centre. Please visit the Public Health reception area or ask at the main information desk in the atrium/main lobby.
If you qualify for a tuberculin skin test, you will require two appointments – one for administration of the test, and one for reading of the test 48-72 hours later. Please check in with reception in Public Health. You will be seen by a Public Health Nurse who will explain and administer the test, as well as discuss follow up. Appointments generally last 10-20 minutes.
