A psychiatric hospital providing expert care through both inpatient and outpatient programs. Alberta Hospital Edmonton (AHE) provides assessment, diagnosis, consultation, education and research in addition to recovery oriented care. AHE does not allow walk-ins and admissions are through an acute care hospital; however, the recently opened Day Hospital on AHE’s campus provides an alternative to hospitalization by providing daily group and individualized support.
