The Eye Institute of Alberta (EIA) at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) has been delivering compassionate care and research for patients from throughout the Edmonton area, as well as central and northern Alberta, northeastern British Columbia, northwestern Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories since 1996.
The Outpatient Eye Clinic (formerly known as the Regional Eye Centre/Clinic) at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) offers patients access to outpatient services for the eye. At this centre, patients attend clinic appointments with the specialist, receive procedures such as ophthalmic diagnostic testing, injections, lasers or minor eye procedures.
